Sacrosanct is currently putting together their second raid team. We are looking for possible healers and a second tank. We are specifically looking for a Protection Paladin. But anyone heals, dps, or tanks with skill please look us up. Our first raid team is currently 2/6 in Blackwing Decent and 1/4 in Bastion of Twilight.

Well, based on the idea that 10 and 25 share a lockout, and have the same gear, it would make sense that once you have 25 people (or two 10's and some extras), you just combine to make it the one raid, since it would be the same thing.
Only problem with combining with my raid is my loot rules are just basic free roll. No DKP system or loot council, or anything like that.

Yeah that wouldnt work out for us. We give loot based off a loot council.
The plan was to eventually merge teams 1 and 2 and any extras into a 25-man somewhere down the line and have a third progressive team still running 10s but this wont happen in the near future.
Personally I enjoy 25 mans a whole lot more and I find them a lot more fun to coordinate so I'd love if this happened but there are a few sticking points to smooth out before it can.
As for guild mergers, they rarely work out great unless one of the leaders is cool with not leading or having much say in how things are run, or all the leaders are...ghandi-esque in their patience, compromising skills and diplomacy.
I'm not ghandi, just saying. Actually I'm kind of a %#!%* :(
