[[The following notice is posted on message boards in all major Alliance cities and the Hero’s Welcome in Dalaran.]]
Dear Alliance, Our world has suffered a great upheaval. Now, more than ever, it is imperative that we ensure our public structures are safe.
Grand Master Engineer Nozz Tappet will once again be leading Inspection Tours of various Alliance locations, reporting her findings and making recommendations to the proper zoning councils. All able-bodied volunteers wishing to donate their time, as well as those desiring to learn more about engineering and proper safety measures, are welcome to attend.
Our first meeting will be at:
Stormwind City, January 25th, at 7:30 pm ST
Please meet in the Valley of Heroes at the front gates. We will be examining the destruction and reconstruction progress in the wake of Deathwing’s flyover.
Important! Inspection tours are neutral parties and do not represent the King’s Law or any other authority. Proper authorization has been acquired to conduct these inspections in both private and public settings. Due to past experience, participants are asked to observe the following:
1. Show proper respect. Please keep any talk of dissent and discussion of incriminating behavior out of the tours. GME Nozz Tappet will not be held responsible for personal injury or harm as a result of arrest over topics that encourage civil unrest.
2. Inspection tour groups are not Royal or private military forces. Exercise restraint in using force and do so only in self-defense.
3. Do not vandalize property.
For any questions, please contact GME Tappet.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What’s an inspection tour?
Inspection tours are open improvisational roleplay events where participants walk around a location and examine their surroundings.
Why?
The game designers have put a lot of effort into adding detail to the game world, which is often overlooked as we run from Point A to Point B. Tours often reveal hilarious peculiarities – candelabras that glow without benefit of any type of light source, hookahs in orphanages, the fine dwarven tradition of booze and bombs in the bedroom, etc.
Tours are also good ways of learning about lore, and is a good way to meet other roleplayers outside of the tavern setting.
I’m a new roleplayer/new to the server. Would I be welcome? How do I fit in?
Tours are true open events that welcome anyone interested in or simply curious about roleplay, regardless of experience. As with any Clockwerk-hosted event, these gatherings are open to all and not limited to just an exclusive set of guilds. The IC hook is simply a notice that’s tacked up in prominent spots.
That sounds interesting. What do I need to do in order to participate?
Just bring a willingness to have fun and enjoy some casual roleplay. If you’re interested in learning neat stuff about the locations we visit, well that’s good, too.
There is no “dress code,” although if your character is an engineering/blacksmithing type that would lend a hand with the inspections, feel free to dress appropriately!
No roleplay addons are required to get the full benefit of these events – just your imagination and a sharp eye. Some of the best moments of past inspection tours happened when we discovered unexpected things.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Thanks!
