Just did this in Paint. This is a very simple instruction manual for Tol Barad. If you follow this plan, you have a much higher chance of not having the Horde be in control for a week straight so I can't go to Baradin's Hold!

All it means is that Alliance needs to stop ressing and running into the same door the entire time. Every game I go in, there is a massive group of Alliance just in a big mass at the west gate of ICG, and sure they might take it over time, but if people keep going in one side, then Horde always knows where they are.

If 20 Horde are in ICG, and there are 20 Alliance outside at that door, then it's a lot easier for Horde to defend, than if maybe 10 Alliance were outside that door and the other 10 come from the south door and go around from behind. The healers are rarely if ever up in the front by the door. And just attacking the dps who keeps being healed (Horde always have more healers than Alliance does) isn't going to improve things.

Alliance since the beginning of the server has been all about the 1-man army. In a PvE raid with 40 people everybody is supposed to work together, while also being able to adjust to things as they come. In a PvP raid with 40 people, everyone plays as if they are wanting to be the hero who saves the day.

Problems with Alliance:
1) Everyone wants to be the hero. That's why people are regularly running in almost single file like some kind of martial arts movie.
2) People spend more time talking AT each other, than talking WITH each other to win a game.
3) Alliance is absolutely bat**** crazy. I know this because of the west door situation. There's that whole "repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results" situation happening.

I never made the claim that doing what I mentioned will win the game, but doing the same exact thing each game for the entire game isn't going to help us win ever. And admittedly ICG probably has the best placed graveyard out of the 3 locations since it's very easy to jump off to the east and go through the south gate whereas with the other locations there is a bit more running to get to the next closest gate.

And I just read that link you put down. That's basically saying what I was trying to get at. Don't just go in one gate. And also stop fighting outside of the wall.

I think the reason the Tol Barad win-trading post got deleted was because it was about win-trading, not because it was Tol Barad.

Also, yeah, I've noticed that Alliance tends to congregate at one door, but they've been a lot better at sending small groups around the back and sides of each node. This an be pretty effective when Hordies are trying to fight off the group at the door, instead of fighting on the flag.

Why are we trying to break into the Alliance base from all three sides?

Even if we are in control of it, we could also be getting roflstomped and are about to lose it. But just wanted to put one up as us being in control since it's typically we having one under our control briefly. :P

The POINT is, stop going in one door. XD

But we like to stay huddled together with our friends -- and they apparently find walking to tiring to make it to the other door.

(Using more doors is good, but you also need to take some friends with you).
