The Sha'tor welcomes Draenei and friends to journey to the peaceful village of Embaari, nestled in the center of Shadowmoon Valley, for an evening of social interactions, traditional contests and vendors selling a variety of goods!

After many, long months of Shadowmoon Valley undergoing conflict and disaster, Embaari's traditional market was left behind. Now, to celebrate life having returned to the village, the Sha'tor and people of Embaari have come together to organize an evening of:

Who can attend?

Though it is considered Draenei-centric, it is NOT limited to only Draenei. All races of the Alliance are welcomed to join! Come by yourself, bring a friend, or come with your guild!

This event will take place, officially, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm server time. People are, of course, more than welcome to show up at any other time of day, and stay longer. However, the events planned for the evening will begin at the times that will be determined during the announcements.

This open market is about allowing players to engage Draenei Roleplay in a Draenei setting, and is also a chance for outsiders who wish to interact with the Draenei, or simply wish to see what roleplay is like in Draenor, in this timeline.

Above all, remember that this event is open to all, and welcomes all. If anyone is interested in adding an event, please don't hesitate to contact Taisnia or Kysderal about it! There are contests and activities, but the event is focused on characters socializing and meeting new people.

I will definitely keep an eye out for this! It'd be lovely to get into some Draenei RP. And Banrok, if I happen to see you around, Ariiah may just be happy to trade some freshly cooked cookies! Yum yum.

I don't see why not - Though keep in mind, not all Draenei are forgiving to the Orcs or Horde as a whole. We will try to keep the peace though for you :)

I wonder if Horde toons can even go into that area without the npc's running at you.

I mean, I'd hope so, it would kind of disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the event if Horde toons unfortunately have to slay the draenei npc's (lol...).

I am all for peaceful cross-faction RP because it can be charming, but someone might want to test that first.

I am with you there, hon. I think, if I remember correctly they will not attack if you are far enough away. I will test it out when I get the chance and let ya know.

I've got a complication, I fear. I got the invite to the event, but on my side of the world, the calendar date would be too late for me to make. As I'm from Australia, the event is technically happening on my work day so...I'm very, very unlikely to make it right on time. I've marked myself tentative in the off chance that RP is happening by the time I return (I don't expect people to wait for me though). So...in advance, in case I do not make it at all, I apologize.

Oh no! Well we shall see how this event goes on a Sunday - If we don't get any as many people as I am hoping for, we will play around with other days of the week.

Would be interesting for one of my Orcs to go...but the NPCs might pose a problem!

Thellus' Pandaren husband would love to learn more about Draenei culture and this seems like a good place for him to learn, let's hope work hours prove fair on his end!

I could try to see how far Erusk can go into Embaari before being attacked!

My friend and I will likely be in attendance, though neither of us are Draenei. This whole thing sounds like it's going to be an awesome event all-around!

You sure can! The point of this Market is to bring the community to the attention of Draenei RP as well as get some Draenor Rp going - Seeing there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of it. Just let me know either in game or post here on the thread on what kind of stall you are looking to do!

This is Thellus, I'm about to head towards Embaari! Let's see how far I can get before aggroing. Hopefully there's a sweet spot for any cross faction RP. :)

The Peacekeepers spawn and aggro as soon as you're in the Village even if no NPC see you.

I did manage to walk behind some of the stalls 1-6 in the map posted in the second post, without any spawning, but if I got closer I got attacked.

Also can't go between the stalls either, there are to many NPCs around there.

Oddly enough I could walk into the Observatory and have no issues there as long as I don't cross path with the wandering NPC

Have to avoid the first pair of guards, after that you can just walk by the second pair.

Thank you so much for the information Erusk! It's a bummer that you Horde folk won't be able to participate in much. Though I expected the Peacekeepers would be on you guys right away. Seeing it's a leveling area still with low level people.

Peacekeeper Earl is sort of elderly, he has trouble differentiating between the peaceful and hostile orcs anymore.
