Sorry to hear that, Glor. Should you ever see Bells around, feel free to walk on up ICly.

Friday seemed to be the busiest, Saturday was a bit slow, and tonight has been on and off.

Yesterday, I logged from Bells into alts I'd created just for the weekend. "Prop" alts, I called 'em.

One was an odd undead woman. Creepy. Or at least I tried to write her creepy. Auliss Ferringweave, The Librarian. Went about asking for books while she chewed on the inside of the thin skin of her cheeks.

The other was a male Orc who went by the name of Muklik, the Tree-Hitter.

Not the brightest, Muklik (who got to the mighty level of 7 before heading into Org) was in search of the Peon Assessment Office.

During his short stay in Orgrimmar, he led quite a few people on what could be called the Best Worst Orc Escort Quest Ever.

At the end, as he readied to board the ship for Brill (once they finally got him there), he rewarded the participants with (And this is a paraphrasing, really. Didn't screencap any of it)...

    [Muklik]: You all nice.
    [Muklik]: I should give something.
    Muklik smiles.
[Muklik]: I like you more now. You honored with me.

Yep. He gave them rep.

Sadly, as the boat was departing from Orgrimmar, Muklik found himself rather in want of a flower far below, stepping off the ship to retrieve it.

He will be missed.

But thank you to those who participated, mains and alts alike. Again, this isn't just some event... this is a way to change how we are on server.

After all, if we don't like the atmosphere, we're the only ones who can alter it.

It was a great day for RP Belle, I saw alot of folks RPing in all SMC and Org. I managed to get some RP in with a couple of new faces as well. This was a great idea.

Thank you everyone who stopped to chat with Gimbol, my little (and apparently very huggable) lost bruiser.

I never did get him an IC group for RFC, but will try again another time.

Yeah i remember the days back in the server first came about, those were the days of.... *dont kill me or berate me for what im about to say*, The Clan of the Fist... Yes everyone remembers RUDY aka YDUR. Glorfindale was then known as Wolfgar a troll warrior. As bad as The Clan was, we did get alot of RP going on the forums, almost as much as we had in game. I would love to see those days back.

I for one would like who ever would like to rp add me as a friend and send me a tell. Im on mostly on mondays and saturdays, due to work. But would love to Rp some heroics or just some random acts around any major city. Bell im going to send you a message in game incase you dont see this first, and add you as a friend if you dont mind.

I made my cameo on my shamman Elysah, walked around org for about 3 hours total between random and BG ques. Sadly didnt see too many people out and about. Still I think this was a great idea and I think the RP community should continue it every day or at least every weekend. Get people back in the game :)

I had a lot of fun when I wasn't busy losing my lungs from both coughing and laughter. Now the trick is to keep the constant flow of RP going, not just a big weekend bash of it. <.<

Bingo!

This whole thing? This was just a way to encourage new folks to poke about, old-timers who wanted a chance at open RP like it used to be to give it a whirl in Org instead of SMC or stuck away in some other zone, and to encourage people to to make new contacts across the RP community between old and new folks alike.

This effort was a baby step. It has to be taken further than this.

I believe, however, that this kind of behavior alteration when performed in conjunction with planned events and maintaining open communication with those other roleplayers with whom we're already comfortable can make an improvement on a grand scale.

Whoa! And hullo!

Alright... since we got a bump on this, let's kick it up a notch!

I'm editing the OP and have changed the dates.

Remember - this is an ongoing thing. This is to change the tides, undo cliques, renew old contacts and give birth to new ones. This is your server. Own it. Love it.

This isn't about just one-time things. It's a new way of being. Getting out of the shadow and into the light.

Please note that Alliance are more than welcome... but you might want to roll a Horde character first if you don't wish to participate in PvP. ;)

Let's do this, peeps! GOGOGO! :3

Peace, Love, and Lok'tar,

Thus, I am asking that all roleplayers on Sisters of Elune, Horde side, specifically travel to Orgrimmar this weekend (3/18-3/20/11).

Count my old bones in on this.

Just want to add that guilds and in-city guild events are most certainly welcome. It's not really a stag party, folks, but just an open invite to go beyond our "comfy zones" of guild chats and channels.

There are a good number of amazing roleplayers on SoE. Come on out of your hiding spot and make a new connection! Your next writing challenge just might be waiting. :)

Alas, I just saw this announcement today (Tuesday), two days AFTER the event.

Here's hoping another will occur soon! And thanks for doing this.

I watched this past weekend on my rogue Veleiria, I am terribly shy but one day soon one of my characters will speak up and say hello I promise.

Just visit the Wyvern Tail Inn (aka Cheers) in Orgrimmar - every time I stop by in the evening, there is some RP activity going on in there.

Also, visit the top of Thunder Bluff any given Sunday at 7:00 PM for some RP storytelling.

Updated with this coming weekend's dates, since there seems to be some folks wondering why hardly anyone is in SMC as of late. ;)

Of course, this is an effort to change behavior in general, getting roleplay out of SMC and into the heart of Horde Country. Furthermore, roleplayers are encouraged to RP in Orgrimmar and then move beyond to the rest of Blizzard's beautiful creations as well, taking full advantage of the subtle shifts and slight changes as gifted to us all from one rather large, angry, ebony lizard. Orgrimmar is just a nice, active place to make new contacts and renew old bonds.

<3,
~Bells

PS -
Alliance are welcome, as always. Might want to roll a Hordie unless you desire a little less RP and a little more PvP. :3

/updates weekend calendar

Also, cap off your Sunday by making a trip to Thunderbluff for the storytelling event hosted by The Broken House guild. It's the icing on a delicious RP weekend cake (and you can cook your family dinner while reading/playing along)!

And if you play your cards right, you might walk away with a pet rabbit...
