Last week my favorite author came up with a rather peculiar writing contest. He asked his followers to write a story no longer than six words. I wasn't able to contribute to that since my mind was rather at odds as to how one could accomplish such a feat. But after a day of reading different entries I realize its not only possible to write a story so short but actually a good writing exercise.
He picked three winners, the one that struck me the most was:
"The baby's blood type? Human mostly."
A simple statement that's open to infinite possibilities, isn't it? That six word line had me thinking the entire day. What exactly was the author thinking? Who was the doctor talking about? What other component was in the child's blood?
So with that being said, here's the challenge SoE:
Write a story (wow-related) with no more than ten words.
Simple eh? I'll add my contributions later on, happy writing!
