I meant all but the RP sticky. I will work on it while I am still on leave.
Outdated Sticky's
I thought about bringing the angry Dwarf out to reply to the thread but I decided the more Stoic Blood Elf Mage would be a better personality for this topic.
With all joking aside, lets look at the thread and the replies there in. The issues that are plaguing the community at large is very prevalent to say the least. From the perceived insults or bad mouthing to the ideas that there is just down right hatred. It is all getting old and unless you are a immature kid that still needs to learn how to carrying on an objective conversation it really does need to come to a end.
I am going on the assumption that we are all adults here and can work our way to a mutual understanding and direction for the betterment of the community for both factions. In all honesty I have wondered about that but I going to go with my instincts and continue with my assumption.
When a discussion about updating stickies turns in to four pages alternating between constructive ideas, rants (perceived or real) and insults (perceived or real), we have some issues to resolve. Ideas need to be presented and discussion need to be presented in such a way that the perceived insult is taken a way. On the other hand a post should not always be considered and insult or what have you as well. (I am using insult to describe anything that would cause bad feelings).
With all of that said updating the stickies and/or replacing with no ones is actually a good idea. If the information is outdated, it does not do anyone a bit of good. As someone that is new to the RP scene on SoE, if I had looked at the Stickies above and found the information was outdated then I probably would have gotten discouraged, and quite honestly almost did. If it had not been for Tamz posting the sistersofelune.net site and finding that information I probably would have gone looking for another server. Hopefully you see where I am coming from here.
Now comes the part that needs to be discussed. First who is going to maintain the stickies? In the case of people leaving the server who is going to maintain the character list sticky? The same can be said for the guilds. This is where I wish we had a way to use attachments on the boards, but at last that option does not exist. It comes down to supplying the information and maintaining said information.
As I have stated the time for talk is over, the time for serious discussions of ideas is upon us.
I am going to work on yet another idea that this thread has put in my head. Hopefully it will come to something.

I can get it started, but I think if people are leaving or changing servers or guilds are disbanded it;s their responsibility. There is only so much one can take on.

And they have been updated :)
Granted, everyone seems to be focusing on re-making something that's up-to-date instead of actually re-making the one that's obsolete.
The response to get them replaced, was met with we need a cinsensus of our peer though I concur, the syickies should be revisted and cleaned up at least every few months. Right now even though the events were upodated all the after posts appear sloppy imo.
It would be great if when a new event needed to be added it gets sent is and editied in to keep it neat.

Digging through the layers of befuddling grammar and syntax, I think what you're suggesting here is that the folks at Blizzard go through all the posts to edit old ones whenever someone has an update to an event and/or player listing.
Am I correct?
We can update them, and we can email to have them replaced. Blizz wants a group of us behind the change in order to do so.
I started a new template and format for the Horde/Alli RPer list. The onese we have are really long winded. Most people in this day and age have a much shorter attentions span, do not read everything and skim.
When I get it up there, then its up to the players to get the info out there, I can email them with a link and voila if we have the support it will get fixed.

Since new lists were created for the alli/horde RPers can they be updated and corrected?
