So, it's been quite some time, and, frankly, the semi-merged servers throw my efforts off. Maybe it's better to ask here: Where's a good, active, RP-oriented Alliance guild? I see the guild listing sticky up above, but the RP section seems to consist mostly of what appear to be "RP if you wanna, don't if you don't" kind of listings. Rangers of Alterac caught my attention, but after a week, I haven't managed to see any online. Even tried sending a request with a note asking for more information using the guild finder ( which seems mostly useless ) and nothing.

My advice to you, and this isn't to be unkind or mean, is to move servers. I've been on SoE for years now, both Horde and Alliance and I've said it before, this server isn't what it use to be. Most of the really great RP guilds are gone or nearly dead. The few that are left aren't up to snuff and are more worried about drama than good RP.

I've seen and heard great things about RP on Alliance side on both Wyrmrest Accord and on Moon Guard and I highly recommend you go over there and check it out. Despite the several attempts at rekindling that RP flame on SoE on EITHER faction, it's never worked and the likelihood of it working now is slim to none anymore.

I wish you luck, I hope you can find a really awesome guild to be in and if by chance there is some guild out there on SoE that's -genuinely good and active- then speak up. As far as Rangers goes, you won't find what you're looking for there, trust me from personal experience

Hm. So the reality doesn't match the sales pitch I take it?

Nope, never did, but they aren't active anyhow and their GM hasn't been around in months so it seems you dodged that bullet thankfully. ^_^
