[Sticky] In-Character Antagonists' Listing

Why am I the only one with an asterisk next to my name...?

I was trying to indicate the added information you supplied concerning what he's known as.

Edit: I can get rid of it, if you'd like.

Oh! No no, it's fine. I was just wondering what it was there for, and when I saw I was the only one, my "Singled-Out" alarm started to buzz. But no problem!

In-Game Name: Tamsyn

In-Game Faction: Alliance

Race: Human

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Herself only

Alignment, with a short explanation: Chaotic neutral

Additional Notes: Though not a traditional mustache-twirling villain, I think Tamsyn can offer a specific niche in antagonism. Tamsyn's specialty is magical artifacts. If you have one, she can help identity it for you and determine what it does. (And if it's powerful and unique, expect her to attempt to buy it...or steal it, if not too risky.) Need a curse or magical means of attack? She can help with that too (we're talking quality spellwork, not the mumblings of a village witch). Soul magic, demonology, and necromancy also available--no questions asked and no judgments given! If the price is right, she'll do assassinations or spy work as well, with a specialty in interacting with (i.e., flirting with) noble, refined gentlemen.

In-Game Name: Caireve (Full name, Caireve Victaire)

In-Game Faction: Alliance (technically).

Race: Gilnean (worgen).

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Originally, crime rings within Gilneas, working mainly as a smuggler. Now, the Eyes of Old (Twilight Cult).

Alignment, with a short explanation: Probably most like Lawful Evil, with Chaotic Evil tendencies. She worked rather ruthlessly as a smuggler in Gilneas, but that was just 'business' to her... Now she is a cultist, so perhaps leaning more towards Chaotic Evil?

Additional Notes: As stated above, Caireve worked with a few crime rings in Gilneas before the wall fell. She is adept at working in shadows or with disguise, and is very good at appraising items. Especially jewelery. If you want to include her in anything, just give me a shout! I'm not afraid to get my characters hurt either. (I don't want them dead, but I am willing to let them get very, very injured if I need to.

In-Game Name: Brother Benjamin, Hope, Hopebearer.
In-Game Faction: Alliance
Race: Human.
Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Hopebearer is a maddened shadow priest, who seeks to follow the traditions of the forsaken by creating a group of devotees who worship the shadow.
Alignment, with a short explanation: Lawful Evil / Chaotic Evil. Hopebearer likes the dark side.
Additional Notes:
-Enjoys torturous pain by shadow magic.
-Was once a necromancer of the Cult of the Damned.
-Seeks to empower himself by studying the works of Kel'Thuzad and many other Lich beings.

In-Game Name: Aillde (Really, her name is spelled Ailde but it was taken ><.)

In-Game Faction: Alliance

Race: Dwarf

Affiliation, if any, with a short explanation: Herself

Alignment, with a short explanation: Chaotic Neutral

Additional Notes: Her business lies with robbing graves and harvesting organs, body parts, bones and souls (buy a soulstone while supplies last!). She also partakes in selling magical artifacts and treasure--of course, under the table. If you play a seedy caster who in short supply of reagents for a spell--a necromancer who needs fresh bodies to resurrect or a warlock who wants this or that for their summoning ritual, chances are Ailde can take the order and provide.

I play her out as an affliction warlock in character. Spells and hexes ahoy, either on a person, object or just spreading love--er, corruption through out the land.

Ailde is in <Modan Co> but doesn't put any of their archaeological findings on the market nor would think twice about stealing from their excavation sites. The business she provides is entirely independent.

An additional note: Yes. I totally understand the antagonist doesn't always win!

Antagonists don't necessarily have to be evil, do they? In some scenarios, the hero might find themselves to be the antagonist.
