For better weight comparisons, Yao Ming, a 7 foot 5 man with an athletic build, weighs 310 pounds, and is considered on the lean side. 250 is a gross underestimation.

Yea my fatty nelf here is 6'6/7 and about 250 lbs probably more

Great work on this here guide. The first one you put out so long ago was a big help to me in deciding to come Alliance and play nelves. This one is even better written, and includes sources, and is academically yummy. Of course there's a part or two I don't like, but I always ignored them in my RP anyway. :-P
Too bad it looks like there are people already trying to start drama in this thread though. If ya can't say something nice...talk about the weather.

I'm leading Elf Co on my druid. You should meet Hailstorm sometime. He's certainly... something.

Also as far as weights go, Rik Smits, center for the Pacers in the 90s, was 7'4" and only 250 lbs, but he was also horribly lanky to the point of having very little muscle compared to Yao Ming, who is by far more athletic.

I was going for average weight. So my initial post was wrong, I corrected it. If we're going by 'ranges', then it might get too complex and open to heresay. Simply saying the estimated average for each gender is good enough, I think.

Lookit the videos. Eve can lift a man with one arm like how you'd hug your medium sized dog.

Melyria is often very opinionated, but in all that I have ever seen of her forum activity, she always respects her debate opponents enough to thoroughly explain her reasoning to them and even takes the time to locate and provide sources for them. Even if what she posts is often 90% valid sourcing and 10% opinion, the 90% is always very useful for new RPers or those new to the Kaldorei, and she's always pretty patient and mature when debating the 10%. Whoever reports all her posts, though, not so much.

Also I enjoyed reading!

Elf CO.'s R&D department is predominantly gnomes, so just come meet one of them some time if you want the short experience.
