Ok since we formed the guild and wanted to give everyone an equal chance to do this....we decided to make all deaths uncounted until level 15. That gives all the guild members who helped me start this a chance to vote and set up rules.
1. Make a character and join the Rising Sun Fellowship.
2. Declare yourself a challenger for the rp challenge to level to 85 without a death.
3. You have until level 15 to settle on a character and class. Once you hit 15, death will count and you have to reroll for the challenge. Before 15 death does not count unless you are a diehard and do it for your own satisfaction , like me.
4. Armor can be bought as follows- before level 15 white armor from vendors in start area.
5. After level 15 and the challenge in force- green quest rewards as completed. Or crafted items of your own or from guild members. Any blue or purple items won in questing or killing mobs.
6. You may use any method to level including using mining or herbing or archeology.
7.Dungeons-If it is a group from the guild and you are in character and you die...you have to reroll or drop out of the challenge. No LFG dungeons outside of the guild. I consider this cheating. I will not do it, but that is my personal challenge to do this without dying and with minimum help. Besides it helps the guild level and we all want the perks, right?
8. No death knights, simply because it knocks out 55 levels...I mean come on really? Do I have to say that?
9. Rp is a must for this, you should be in character at all times, use the add on MyRp, or Total Rp.
10. Journal your experiences to help us keep track and to give you some positive feedback. the journal thread is in World's End Tavern forums. Once you are in the guild I expect a voice on the Journal, on your character when you hit the right level.
11. If you drop out you are welcome to stay in the guild as that character if you wish but if you want to redo a character for the challenge I heartily encourage you to do so.
12. This is for fun, no pressure, no timetable, no race. Develope a good character and have fun!

Great post Nenj!! This is becoming my favorite guild. I have stopped at 15 to allow more to catch up. Oh I was thinking if you want me to note how many times you have died or is that something you want to admit yourself? I could brag about not dying yet...but that might jinx me!

If one of the officers is online they can invite you Nic, remember to stick with the rules and you have to agree to the rules before committing to the challenge.
I expect everyone to abide by the in game lore of Warcraft. Your own personal story is different, but has to be lore compliant.

So, if it's still ok to join, do you HAVE to have RP adons? i don't really like them (and am paranoid about getting viruses).
ya i meant i created my own story not lore my bad XD. and do we need rp add ons and if so what ones? or do you have suggested ones?
oh ya one more thing, about the DK rule. can we lvl up our warrior to lvl 55 then have him die to the scourge and come back as a DK? i even already have a cool story :D
What if you play through from lvl 1-55 and make yourself known, then you get killed by a bunch of Scourge on purpose, delete your character and create your same character only as a death knight? You can do whatever you like as far as creating other characters, but remember the object of the challenge is to "stay alive" and not die at all...so no death knights in the challenge. Death knight is dead...so please do not ask again.
As far as addons, I strongly suggest the one you can get from curse called MyRolePlay. It is simple and easy to format and it gives you the opportunity to make first and last names and nicknames. As well as gives you a tag, others can see you are an rper. You can give yourself a bit of description like tattoos and scars, different colored eyes or whatever you like. I kind of make the background stories very light. So you can build a character rather than be stuck in a background you may regret.
There are other addons that are fun as well, I use one called "tongues" that allows my character to pick up other languages in your faction and gives your racial language, which is only understandable by the same race or if the person has the add on they can learn it.
The addons from curse are fine, they are not causing viruses. At least if you have some good virus protection, which you should have anyway, like Avast, which is free by the way.

Well actually according to the lore surrounding death knights, some death knights can actually still be 'alive' in a sense but never died but still have all the powers of a death knight. It all depends on your backstory on what happened. For example in order to become a death knight there are two known ways of becoming one (and no I do not include first generation death knights). First is by dying and getting brought back, but the second way to doing so is by absorbing a lot of necromantic energy. Arthas is one such death knight.
