On a side note.

I have seen consistent city raiding of an overpower force of one faction take an already tipping scale and run it off the charts. I personally hope the interest of FTA fades and we can get back to more constructive world pvp and cross faction RP.

I have respect for Kod for the person he is but do not agree the continued raiding of Horde cities on such a regular basis serves any purpose other then create angst and animosity between the factions which only hurts a RP community.

Correction: A new member organized a roleplay event. He expected Pia would be responsible and not invite an army of people who not only do not RP but have shown nothing but contempt for the RP community. It wouldn't be IC to throw 5 people at an army of 30 (especially when Pia was the minority in such an event; that is simply something that has long been understood by RP guilds for these sort of conflicts). This was an event attempt by a new member who knew the Alliance involved before they knew us, who requested our aid and did not think to explain to a long standing RP guild the need for not inviting not only such a massive group (when they know exactly how small we are) but people who were known griefers with no consideration of RP. Why would we throw our characters into that? I said I would not do it, and the member who actually organized it went over to Alliance side to explain things. Perhaps that information didn't actually get to you.

I had no personal desire to give this thread attention but you needed to be corrected. I am not going to allow you to drag my guilds name in your mud.

Your new member is also a member of Pia. She reminded us several times of the event so we'd have a good turnout.

When we did the Haala event, Pia showed up with a few members of LO. I think we had 8-10 people there against 3 times that many, mostly Cereal Killerz. Yes, it was a rp event.

We got a few more people to join us and went in even though we were still vastly outnumbered to save the rp event. Obviously we got wiped, corpse camped and everything else that goes along with it, but we didn't run to the forums to complain about it. The rper on horde side did get on his alli toon and ask me why we weren't prepared since he had reminded me several times there would be an attack...just like your/our member did.

Alliance still flagged at the wedding event even though we were outnumbered by...Cereal Killerz who were the unruly guests. They played their part well.

How many posts did you see on the forums with us complaining about this? Once again...zero.

The member who was organizing the event didn't communicate how many would be coming or what the desired outcome was. It was her/his first rp event and crap happens. I'm not blaming anyone for anything because it was simply miscommunication about desired results. It was their first big event and I wish people would cut the event and the person some slack so they will do more. I really am sorry it didn't turn out well, but it was simple miscommunication, not malicious intent.

In the first event we were reminded several times the event was going to happen, but I played it like we knew nothing about it because I didn't want to appear to be meta-gaming it. Then I get people mad at me for leading them into a trap.

In the second nearly identical set up we were reminded several times to get ready so we gathered Pia and asked in piaooc if anyone wanted to come so we would give people a decent turn out. We show up prepared and everyone's mad because this time we did bring people.

Do you see the confusion here? Nearly identical events. People reminding us several times not to forget the event. We're kind of damned if we do and damned if we don't.

I sent apologizes to the person organizing the event and to a Modas member and said I would be glad to re-do it if someone would lay out what they wanted to happen and give me some kind of numbers to work with. I seriously don't know what else to do.

Kod apologized for showing up if that was causing problems. Then he suggested we might do a war game thing like we did with LO. Personally, I'm about to come to the conclusion we should do events like this in wargames so everything is completely even, completely pre-arranged and completely fair.

What else to do? In the words of Oliver Cromwell: "You have sat too long for any good you have been doing lately... Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"

No. That's not even remotely how that event turned out.

Horde was comprised of Malicious Intent, Ishnu Por Ah, and Homelanders who came aboard after my begging and pleading to keep the numbers even. During the event, someone on Alliance side brought in Trade channel recruits because they were sore they were losing to our EVEN numbers.

Get your facts straight and keep them straight. One would think you and these PvP griefers were intentionally trying to skew past events for your own benefit.

Echo Lahkin. Yeah ... we definitely had more than 10 Alliance side. I remember being told we needed to stop recruiting BEFORE this event even started because we had the Horde side outnumbered before we even began.

You know, I have been on CC since I started playing- a year after launch.

I am ashamed to see what's going on here, both in game and in the forums. Some of the names I have seen floating around.... I had thought better of you.

The last time I saw drama of this caliber was when the Jugg/H&E split went down, followed closely by the world event for Wrath.

I know for a fact that both sides are dirty in this. Don't care what happened. But it needs to stop. Things like this lead to forum bans, in game bans, hurt feelings and consequences that you may not be ready for. If ya'll need to duke it out, fine. But stop dragging the rest of CC's community down in the dirt with you. Duke it out, talk it out, stop talking, put someone on ignore, don't care. The old community of players has shrunk, we don't need to be going at each other. If anything, we need to be sticking together and promoting the game and server.

With all of the changes that are coming, and the dry spell that we will be going through with the release date set, maybe its time to take a step back and re-think your priorities. We have a fresh start coming in a few months. Lets make the most of the rest of the time we have before MoP hits.
