So a bit upset that they moved our recruitment thread to guild recruitment. Stupid Blizzard is stupid.
RP Challenge (Rising Sun Fellowship OOC #3)
Meh, what can you do about it.
There are guilds recruiting here all the time...why did they make you move?
Oh well, we still have this one and you can check on the guild recruit forums I guess. or make another thread that is OOC and encouraging people to join? Also make sure you post something everytime someone comes in WET looking for a realm and rp guild.
It's all we can do.

So it appears people have forgotten. But I need names of the toons you wish to bring to the RP event. If I don't get this then we will continue to be stalled.
I shall be there of course.
Please add Azmos to the roster of who will be in the new digs. He will be protecting and healing as best as he can.
I had not forgotten, I merely didn't see anything pertaining to it. My apologies.
Edit: You are correct, Kel'tira. It was the last thing on the the notes you posted.
(Funny how with one posting here requesting it outright you starting getting a list)

I'm too tired to dig through the notes that I posted, but I'm nearly certain there was a bit in there about getting Tyr a list.
Either way, it's irrelevant.
I'll have Kel and Arathiana it looks like.
Either way, it's irrelevant.
I'll have Kel and Arathiana it looks like.
I'll be there on Krey
Kreydes, Azmos, and Lineron vs. Alexander ‘The Butcher’ Yuri (8 Shadow Knights, 8 Rangers, 4 Sorcerers)
Kel’tira and Cyaer vs. Tychus Malcan (Tychus summons Shadow Beasts and Sha to fight for him)
Shadow and Ratheron vs. Tyranus Firehawk and Selethen Dawnrunner (5 Shadow Knights, 5 Sorcerers, 5 Rangers, 5 Blood Knights)
Pfaedra, Aran, Ana and others vs. Darius Malcan (10 Shadow Knights, 5 Sorcerers, 5 Blood Knights)
Tislina, Dalen, Sera and others vs Targus Cloudstriker (10 Shadow Knights, 10 Sorcerers, 10 Blood Knights, 10 Rangers)
These will be the pairings. I’ve left room for people to throw their alts and other characters into the groups. The only two groups that are set and completely unable to be joined are the Kel Cy and Shadow Rath groups. These are for plot devices that the characters involved feel like are great elements for the RP as a whole and for their character development. If you would like to discuss with me such things or see if I have an ideas for you let me know and I shall endeavor to help.
I am also willing to make a fifth group for those who feel “left out” I can easily just have Tychus go up against Kel and Cy and have it work out as well. The simple fact of this section of the RP is its a battle for survival. The Fellowship is caught off-guard and unprepared. They are outnumbered and out-skilled in a lot of regards. The consensus is to split up and force the enemy to split up as well. This way the strength of their numbers weakens as well as their combined “hero” strength as it were.
As you can see each enemy group has been given a number of troops, the Fellowship forces are not there as they were sent out on different tasks and missions, nobody expecting this attack. These are just smaller numbers than what the actual force consists of as there is a rear-guard and troops moving to hem in the Fellowship from using the sea as an escape route. They also sent troops out to isolate the Fellowship’s other forces to defeat them and further destroy the group.
As you can see the Fellowship is in a crappy position. This does not mean people have to die, nay I don’t want anyone to die. What I want to see however is injuries, fear, panic, dissension. I want to see people pushed past their breaking points or pushed to them. I want to see our characters challenged beyond anything they have been before and I want you to fail. The only reason the Fellowship survives past this is because it receives aid from the unlikely allies of Tyrael, Shadowless, Eve, Nicias and Raina. If they didn’t show up then this would all end badly for the Fellowship and its supposed to be that way. Read the bit I started this post with and you will see what the idea is.
Everything becomes strained and is held together by a single strand and this pushes us into the next stage of the RP. If you don’t like it please make your feelings clear here in the OOC thread or in the channel so that we can talk to you about it and either help you understand or work to compromise with you.
You have free creative license below are each of the bad guys (besides Tychus who I will be controlling) with their details and fighting styles and info about them so that you -can- control everything about the fight. However if I find your attempts to be “lacking” and yes I do get to make the call I will come in and RP it out with y’all. This is a simple matter of trying to keep the plot on the line of where it needs to go while still giving you the freedom to creatively write it and to fit within how you want to write it. Unlike a lot of RPs you have free reign of the combat. The only thing that is set is the tempo and then the ending. None of these characters will die, the troops can be killed and beaten, not easily mind you but they can be killed, however the “champions” cannot.
Honestly I give no f*cks anymore. So if you want in on this post here now so I can put your name in the groups. Otherwise you sit down with the people in your group, find a time to RP this and RP it out. Google docs preferably so we can all see them and have htem posted here on the forums.
Otherwise things are moving forward without you. Sorry for being harsh but I'm tired of waiting on people to be "ready" for sh*t.

Name: Targus Cloudstriker
Race: Human
Age: Unknown
Class: Shadow Knight (Sha-Corrupted Death Knight)
Description (Including armor and weapon): Targus stands at 6’ 2” weighing in at a heavy 255 pounds of corded muscle. He is big mean and dangerous. He wears no helm but his armor is black re-color of DK Tier 8, for reference: http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=834. His weapon is the same model as this sword: http://www.wowhead.com/item=34247. He has no noticeable scars on his body due to the corrupting effects of the Sha and his own regenerative abilities as a Death Knight, combined they make him heal almost any wound however it takes him hours to do.
Fighting Style: Targus, because of his inability to feel pain or really feel any emotion whatsoever and the fact that he heals any wound he takes is not one to protect himself well. He prefers using his massively enhanced strength to break his enemies with mass two-handed strikes or the black magic of a Shadow Knight. This makes him vulnerable to fast moving targets however his plate armor combined with great stamina makes him hard to defeat quickly and someone its better to simply kite around. Targus, and all Shadow Knights, use a wide range of shadow-unholy magic acting much like Death Knights except many of their spells are enhanced or changed entirely for example they get a Shadow Nova that replaced their Blood Boil spell.
About: Targus is Tychus right hand man. He is the no. 2 in Tychus’ organization and the First Shadow Knight, this makes him the most dangerous enemy second to Tychus that the Fellowship faces. He is strong, not entirely that fast (in comparison to a rogue) he isn’t a heavy thinker yet don’t count him out in a fight or battle. He has spent generations fighting and as such he isn’t the type to simply bull-rush into every situation however in most cases this is his normal response when facing those he considers weaker. Targus will be the “face” that the Fellowship sees the most, he acts as the go between for Tychus and most of his clients and contacts as such Tychus doesn’t feel the need to show himself much and therefore it is hard to judge what the sorcerer himself is capable of.

Name: Darius Malcan
Race: Human
Age: Unknown
Class: Battle-mage
Description: 5’ 11” and weighing in at 190 pounds Darius is sleek and athletic, not a large man but not small by any means. He looks much like a triathlete with highly toned muscles that aren’t very large but still show off that he isn’t a pushover. He wears robes with sewn in chain-mail links that are enchanted to be light weight and to provide protection against spells and physical attacks alike. The robes are stylish yet practical, black with gold thread lining. His weapon of choice is a straight bladed sword that he wears at his hip, slightly longer than a short sword but shorter than a longsword. The weapon is also enchanted to enhance Darius’ spells as well as hardened to withstand stronger attacks.
Fighting Style: Darius is a battle-mage as such he is talented in single combat and with his weapon of choice but he lacks the natural strength and years of hardening that most warriors, paladins and Death Knights have gone through. This makes him rely heavily upon his magical arts which have been enhanced by years of study in the arts of enhancing magics as well as attack magic. Darius therefore is a dangerous spellcaster, able to summon barriers of hardened arcane energy to block attacks as well as enhancing his body to move faster or his strikes to hit harder, he can even summon the occasional fireball.
This means that in single combat against a highly trained warrior or paladin his advantage is in his magical talents yet he will rely on his speed to defeat such opponents whereas against a talented assassin or rogue he would be out-matched for speed and natural talent.
About: Darius is Tychus’ “son” whether this is true or simply what the two wish people to believe is irrelevant at this point in time. The clincher here is that Darius is Tychus’ apprentice and Tychus is training and turning Darius into a perfect likeness of himself, which is bad. This means Darius is cunning, evil and has a tendency for an insane flair of thought and magic. As such Darius is hard to predict in what moves he will make and how he will react to the moves of others.

Name: Tyranus Firehawk
Race: Sin’dorei
Age: Unknown
Class: Mage
Description: Tyranus stands at 5’ 11” weighing in at a measly 155 pounds, he is skinny yet it fits his role as a Sunreaver mage. He has flaming red hair, matched by emerald green eyes that are tinged with red, his use of arcane magic causing his eyes to shift closer to red than his natural eye color. He wore subdued crimson robes lined in a bright blood red with the emblem of House Firehawk on his left breast. His choice of armament was the staff given to him by Tychus, a sha-touched weapon that enhanced Tyranus’ already considerable arsenal of spells and power.
Fighting Style: Traditional Mage.
About: Tyranus is the heir-apparent to House Firehawk should Aserius die, with both Ratheron and Dalen unable and unwilling to take the title and Tyrael dead it falls to Aserius’ second son Tyranus. While Tyranus was always faithful to his father, Aserius never looked at the boy as a son and therefore it made Tyranus bitter towards his brother and easy prey for Tychus. Tyranus now serves Tychus in the hopes that the elder Sorcerer shall impart knowledge and power on Tyranus and raise House Firehawk to even greater glory than Aserius wished.
Name: Alexander Yuri “The Butcher”
Race: Human
Age: 28
Class: Gladiator
Description: Alexander is 6' 8" and weighing a little over 300 lbs. He is lightly tanned, chiselled physique with several scars decorating his body from years combat and serving as both a bodyguard and a hitman. Alexander is a blue eyed, black haired phenomenon who strikes fear into people who see him simply from him just looking at them. His eyes speak volumes about the rage and mercilessness that recide with the man and all he fights for now is money and glory. His black hair is kept tied in a pony tail and he also has a smattering of tattoos of ancient runes and toher symbols of war. Alexander weilds a massive wall shield that has five spikes adorned in a square pattern with one in the center of the square. The shield is black and has a red dragon emblazed upon it. Along with the shield Alexander weilds a longsword that would require two hands for a smaller man but Alexander weilds it like a one handed weapon. Alexander named the weapon "Hope's End." For armor Alexander wears what he wore in the arenas, two massive shoulder plates that have a grouping of three spikes on them, both black. He wears a helmet that covers his face and gives him the look of a wolf, also black, for a chestguard Alexander wears a brawler’s harness that fits snug on his body. Alexander completes the gladiatorial look with a pair of black dragonhide leather pants and black saronite boots.
Fighting Style: The Butcher learned his trade in the many arenas that are all over Azeroth, earning the title The Butcher from his work there in the arenas. He soon was freed after years of fighting and when he was he took his trade into the realm of mercenaries, learning to fight as a bodyguard, soldier and hitman. He fights dirty, using every trick in the book. He is both fast and strong, the speed comes from his lack of upper body armor giving him more freedom and movement. However he is bulky and packs a mean punch. Fighting him head on is ill-advised and it is probably best to fight him with magic.
About: Alexander never knew his family, he was sold into slavery is a young boy and served as a yard slave in the training grounds for gladiators. As he grew and both his bulk and height increased in proportions he was taught how to be a gladiator and turned into a killing machine. He was sixteen when he first entered the arena and by the end of his first year in the arena he had earned the title "The Butcher" for his brutal slaughtering of a dozen men sent to face him. He continued to fight as a gladiator for the next 7 years before he was given his freedom, however Alexander chose to continue in the profession, training the next generation of gladiators before a more lucretive opportunity presented itself.
That lucretive opportunity presented itself in the form of a man by the name of Silver Entreri, a now reformed Bounty Hunter who took Alexander under his wings and turned him into a bodyguard, mercenary and hitman for hire. Alexander soon proved to earn the title of "The Butcher" again for taking down an entire armed guard detail to get a target and reclaim the bounty. After he and Silver went their seperate ways on friendly terms Alexander has been since moving from city to city and taking whatever jobs people believe to be impossible as well as continuing to occasionally fight in the arenas.
If killing needs done, Alexander Yuri is the man for the job, which is how Tychus came to hire him.

Sorry I didn't give my name to Tyr, Rath. I did say at the meeting that I didn't want Rhannah to be involved in the fighting. It's just not part of her character. She'll fight if she's forced to, but she prefers not to. I'm looking at it as her being en route to the enclave while the battle is going on.
Oh, no, it's fine. xD It's just other people who've been asking for RP and for things to go forward but didn't step up and re-post their names after this got put off the first time. You're fine.

Yes don't worry I will have things for Rhannah to be doing!
Pfaedra will be wherever Neryth is. Hahnai with Aranthil and Dalen? Just making sure. I have the google docs how do I work with someone on it? Also Vivi can be in the distance ready to move in as soon as Ratheron gives his ok. She would have her friends the warlock society and Sydric and his death knights. But they will not move in until they are invited.
They probably won't be invited.
1. Because Ratheron doesn't trust Vivi and
2. Because then it would become, again, a House fight. We do not want that.
Honi will be with Aran, Dalen, and Ser. That'll be fun. Cy will have to say if he wants to do Neryth. He's already there on two characters, he might not want to do it on more.

I won't be on much in game this weekend, it would be spotty at best.
I'll try to monitor the forum postings but I cannot say how much.
When I left today, my wife was frantic, and we were headed to the hospital. Her youngest daughter had been in a car accident, and she looks pretty bad. Jax is staying with her there, and I'm taking care of Chelsea's two boys. They are scared, as am I .
Kel, if you send me a link via RSF mail to the google.doc , I will try to do the RP for the battle we are set for, when I have time.
Keep us in your prayers.
