FYRP: Shaw (Me!) is hosting Story Night @ The Darkmoon Faire from 8pm to 9pm-ish Tuesday the 3rd! just head to the boardwalk and hang a right behind the petting zoo.
This is an open, no-hassle rp event that is open to all. Stories are not mandatory, so sitting in is ok! It's also a good way of getting to know other Horde RPers in character.
Upcoming Locations/Dates:
---------------------------------------
5/10 - Razor Hill
=================================
Note: If no one gathers by 8:15pm, cancellations may occur. We'll go past 9:00 as needed, if not, open RP can start and the event will break camp - feel free to stay and RP afterward!
Greetings all,
For quite a few years now, I have been hosting the weekly "Story Night" aka "Tears Tuesday" Hordeside. For many, this is the first RP event folks see or experience. For all those that have come over the years, I appreciate you all taking the time to stop by and listen, being supportive and maybe share a story or two.
One of the cornerstones of RP is respect. As RP seems to be seen as the "Wild West" as far as any "official" rules, respect for others is crucial for the RP community to grow and have fun. We all are in a RP community, whether we admit it or not. It's also a social outlet as well, which means the respect part of RP is all that much more needed in working together.
I run a simple and civil rp event for a reason. The main goal is to have a no-pressure rp event and to have fun. The premise is simple - and was made like that by choice and design. A welcome event for both RPers and Non-Rpers to enjoy some stories and role-playing.
The event is an example that:
1) RP is alive on Earthen Ring (For the naysayers that think otherwise.)
2) RPers are people too, and some great ones at that. (For those that believe stereotypes.)
3) RPing can *gasp* be fun. (For those that think RP is a waste of time.)
All I do is host and organize, without those that come, it's nothing - so I thank you all. Thanks to the < Tears of Draenor > and the ooc rper channel forthehorde as well for the support as well behind the scenes. Also thanks to Ilemnemis for hosting the reboot of the old "Tears Tuesday" years ago before I was host.
Stay safe and Godspeed.
