Sylvanas went soft in BC anyway, and is only slightly redeemed by supporting Putress in the shadows. A forsaken NPC saves that filthy blood elf that's been poisoned at the edge of Eversong and Ghostlands.
A cuddly forsaken could be done well, but it would take some creative magic. Not that big of a deal, the same can be said for the average person trying to write a well-developed character on the other side of the fence. Evil characters are often one-dimensional; possibly the characters are victims of being joined to their writers' boring personalities.
In conclusion.. six words.. Arthas' end as the Lich King.
