Just hit WPL right after that. Was flying in the southeast part of the zone, so people in Hearthglen (like me) were unaffected.

Similar experience here, I was chilling in the southern end of the zone when the sky became black. Saw him flying over north of me but missed out on the fire. Apparently it doesn't work Ex Post Facto, need to be in the line of fire (pun not intended) the time he attacks.

Also, he has nearly 900 million HP, jeez...

Just got owned in Blasted Lands (near the portal).

I thought DW was going to be doing this until we kill him originally due to an interview shortly after Cata was announced with someone who was high up at Blizz,( I don't recall who offhand).
They said clearly he would be doing this until he was killed eventually, but this was almost a year ago or so I think and I've heard people implying otherwise so it got me thinking.

Just saw him in Uldum at 9:30pm EST. He flamed the whole area ,but somehow missed me. I tried to chase him down on the flying mount ...didn't work lol. Standing in the fire he left doesn't do it either...I guess you gotta be in the initial blast of it? =(

in the durotan realm he was in twilight highlands at 10:15 right above the krazzworks. a bunch of my guildies got the achievement.

He hit Uldum last night around just after 11 PM. Total luck that I was there (just got out of an instance run).

Hit Uldum at 8:45PM today. Took pictures!

Death wing killed me while i was questing in the blasted lands . i couldn't see much of him because it was quick and i didn't even know what happened . all i got to see was part of his body and then i went to the spirit healer .

5 P.M. in the burning steppes on Monday, I got hit by Mr. Deathwing.

February 9, 2011 @ 10:35 server, Deathwing came through the blasted lands and roasted me while i was heading to the dark portal. Screen tinted red and before I could get to a good spot to take a screen shot I was toast!

Attacked the Blasted Lands. Was leveling when a guildmate got the achievement.

i just got vaporized by deathwing in the blasted lands, i logged in to find myself in the middle of a raging inferno i didnt know what the hell was going on at first

9 PM server time, Western Plaguelands, but he was so overwhelmed by fear of AAMS reprisal that he did NOT attack Caer Darrow. I actually had to fly over to the mainland to taste his sweet sweet flames. XD

Also, I managed to get the achievement without actually dying. Dropped off my mount, ran around in the fire, and got back on my mount to fly off with about 20k health left.
