World of Warcraft®

I just created a character on this realm and am looking for a guild that would be willing to take on a total noob to rp. I'm not looking to go all out zerg on raiding, I'm looking for a great atmosphere for rp learning and enjoying the game.

Willing to go either faction. Anyone recruiting?

Quite a few people are recruiting. What kind of guild are you looking for? If you are looking for an rp guild there are a lot that are recruiting. To name a few, Pia Presidium, who are our local holy order. Lluchduu Ocheliad who are sort of a group of bad guys lead by a Robber Baron. Then there are a lot of others, which there is a thread here somewhere that lists them and a has a short description of each guild.

If I had my "perfect" choice I'd go with a dwarven guild or something to that effect. Nothing evil.

Mostly an order of crusaders/ defenders of the realm type group. Nothing ERP. Pretty much anyone willing to tolerate me learning as I level and getting myself established. I've been gone for almost two years and I'd like to get back into the game.

Conclave is a group of scholars and defenders of knowledge. We number everything from the typical scholarly type to characters who are looking for their own personal answers. We're pretty laid back and glad to help. That and we love the gnomes.

A biased opinion, but I would recommend Conclave, especially if you're new to RP. We are very new-guy friendly and can help out with your RP as you're getting your feet wet. :)

As a matter of fact this community if filled with great knowledgeable friendly people. All you need to do is ask!

Join our Alliance OOC Channel (OOC = Out Of Character) or our Horde OOC Channel and say hi once you decide on a faction, or roll one of each side and go from there. Chat with us, get to know the community and decide as you go. Chances are that you'll hop from one guild to another as you figure out your character and which fits best, and that's ok. Those two channels are below:

/join allianceooc
/join hordeooc

But as I was saying about Conclave, whisper Genevra or I anytime in-game or shoot us a mail. We'll get ya in and get ya started, or help point you in the right direction.

Oh good lord, why would he join the Horde? He would be bored and deplored. I’d rather fall on my sword or be choked with a cord while eating a gourd.

Just to give a bit more information about Pia Presidium, they are in fact a crusader/defender type of guild with focus on defending the Cathedral of Holy Light and the Alliance as a whole, with other people focusing on other aspects besides just being a 'fighter' type of player. For example there are a number of healer rpers as well.

Just like Conclave, Pia is also new rper friendly, and in all honesty, majority of the guilds and the rp community as a whole is new rper friendly.

Oh yeah! A lance all in the face is enviable to entrapment by the Alliance! There his character growth would be stunted before he got punted by a random human on his way to be hunted.

Riiiight. Those troll "herbs" they use for "inspiration". Yeah, I can get them but it ain't cheap.
