This is a general shout out to any and all Alliance players on Cenarion Circle and Sisters of Elune that run Battlegrounds or have an interest in running Battlegrounds. The purpose of this Call to Arms is simple. I want to build a network between the max level Alli PVP players on this server so we can easily and readily form premade groups when we are on.

Ideally I would like us to get to a point where at least 3 (preferably 5+) of us commit ahead of schedule to a weekly PVP night. If we happen to get a big enough group and our characters are geared for it we can move onto doing rated Battlegrounds but for the time being I envision us sticking to running randoms.

Also don’t worry if you are intrigued by BGs but don’t have PVP gear or have had bad experiences with Alli PVP in the past. You’re still fully welcomed to run with us and I, along with others, will gladly give you tips on good places to get honor on the side, how to obtain PVP gear ect… Besides I assure you that doing BGs with several friends is a very different and far more enjoyable experience than running them alone.

If you are interested please post a reply to this thread or get in touch with me in game. We can then start adding one another to our friends or B ID list to further expand the network. PvP is something I have always wanted to try, but frankly it scares me. Perhaps because I have previously queued alone and that seems un-fun to me.

I have no PvP gear at present, but I would be willing to work on it. Can I come hang out with you to see if I will like it?

I prefer healing, but I could give dps a try if that would be preferable.

Healing is perfectly fine and instances like Isle of Conquest will be a good place for you to start getting some gear and exposure to PVP. I'm happy to have you along! Also, ignore Noikona. The average Horde team is not smart enough to focus fire a healer.

Congratulations! You've just been drafted! Get that waggle draenei butt of yours to the front lines asap! ;-P

I'll need to set aside days to do this, as I'm also wanting to get out into the world and RP more, but you can count me in on this. (Bear in mind though, I am trying to prioritize RP at this time.)

Tuesdays or Thursdays would be the best "designated days" for me. I also wouldn't be opposed to tanking my already terrible 2s rating to help people get conquest points.

Healers are sorely needed in BGs, but don't expect them not to focus healers. We'll need to set up peels. Also Az, if you have higher level PVE gear, that could be used to ease the transition, as it retains its effectiveness until ilevel 540.

Awesome! Glad to have you along. Right now we are still just recruiting but once I get an idea of our head count we can then begin scheduling a PVP night that works for everyone.

Yeah, a Horde premade will and we'll want to eventually be geared and coordinated enough to counter such teams. I merely made that comment based on what I've seen running randoms as Mormel. Most unorganized groups will repeatedly smash their face against the DPS rather than focus fire the healer even if you tell them exactly who to target.

Thanks for the responses thus far and I still strongly encourage anyone interested to join the Alliance Army group at the dotOrg site! It is indeed IoC weekend so expect a lot of wins!

I've got a major RP session as Mormel tonight and the AAMS Lounge tomorrow night. Thus, I'll be on earlier in the day running BGs as Gerhilda. Feel free to send me a whisper if you are on and would like to team up.

Also, for those who do not PVP much I still recommend solo queing for Isle of Conquest. It is a 40 man BG with a PVE objective and the Horde side usually has a lot of badly programmed bots (ai programmed players). While it can be a bit crazy if you've never done it so long as you follow the big rush of people going towards mid (the workshop) or towards the west (docks) you'll usually be fine.

How you specifically que for a Call of Arms BG is by clicking on the PVP icon. You'll see a screen with four large bars on the right hand side. The Call of Arms BG , Isle of Conquest, will be the second one down from the top. Simply highlight it then que by pressing the button at the bottom of the PVP screen.

If anyone wants a sparring partner, or a passive training dummy to thwack upon, I'm good for it. I like seeing people evolve and learn, and gear up.

Gen knows how to get in touch with me. At the very least, we both can learn something.

I call your bluff! There is no way you'd become a pacifist and give up kidnappings, attempted assassinations, gnome puntings, and locking waitresses in closets.

Alright! I'm getting a sense of our numbers thus far and things are looking good! I've edited the original post to include the current roster of interested people. We should start thinking of a day to hold our weekly PVP night. Now Kyalin said that Tuesdays and Thursdays work best for her. I'd prefer Thursdays but I can also do Tuesdays. What days are best for everyone else?

Also sometime this week I am going to start putting up BG tactic articles under the Alliance Army group at the dotOrg site. These will just be brief little intro tips that those newer to PVP can utilize to help them get started.

Tuesdays would be preferable, and I can make Thursdays work if we do it earlier in the evening (before 7:30 server). Although, in a few weeks that may change and my Thursdays will be a bit more free.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to run some BGs with you yesterday, Mormel. My other RP stuff took up most of my play time. And I will be spending most of today outside (crazy, I know). When I get back from my day at the lake, I will check to see if you are online.

Not sure how we would work the RP in but we could try! Of course Gerhilda IC is not one to fight so I would have to use Mormel. She's not adverse to a good scrap so long as there is a reason for it.
