Well, winter has arrived with it's frigid grip upon the land, and I find the cold both invigorating and wonderful. My breathing is better (got off the oxygen finally) and I'm out playing in the snow with the big old bassett hound. He cracks me up when he gets a small pile of snow on the top of his nose, and he does his best Elvis imitations, and looks at me like, "What?" (the big hambone!)
So keep yourself warm, make a big old pot of homemade soup or better yet chili, and hunker down for a setting in of Old Man Winter!
And if you live where it's so god awful warm there is no winter...I feel for you, I honestly do. Here in Iowa/Nebraska we get all four season of the year, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There is just nothing that beats a hayride on a chilly October/November Saturday night, with your best girl snuggled up next to you under an old quilt, then setting before a big bonfire, and cooking hotdogs on a stick, and marshmallows or better yet S'mores! I love the Midwest.
As always, look forward to seeing you in game!
