You have all the clues you need to hunt Elysium. Checking mountain ranges. Looking for underground caverns large enough to house a large structure. Explain to me where it is that you -don't- have what you need?

Perhaps you are confusing things? Perhaps you are mixing portions of the story? I've been busy writing and working on stuff. Apologies for the delay in getting the Dalen/Jazzy thread up. But outside of that I am unsure of what you are referring to here. The clues are there. I just spoke to Kel'tira who said that NO ONE was on Sunday to do the RP for Winterspring.

I'm at the point where the nice guy attitude I've been using, or attempting to use, is going to be stowed permanently and all y'all will get to see is the @sshole. Now if that isn't what you want then let us get something straight here.

The arc has all the clues you need. If you want to add something to it ask. If you want to clarify something ask. But don't vascillate between "Oh well maybe... um... yeah." That won't get you anywhere. Straight blunt and simple. Don't beat around a bush and don't try to play it as something it isn't.

This blindly seeking something with no idea of whether it is working or not is very boring.

What are you blindly seeking? Please. Illustrate to me what it is you are doing blindly? Oh you mean looking for a cave system in the mountain ranges? That doesn't seem very blind to me.

You mean what you are asking for is to have a straight-lined story with it all explained and easy to finish so that someone else can write a story?

Let me explain this -again-.

Personal stories, character development, etc. Can all happen WHILE you are following the guild arc. In fact I would love it if that is how people would RP related to the guild arc.

Follow their stories, continue with their personal lives as they work through helping the Fellowship. But what do people do? No. They expect the guild RP to revolved around their character.

I tried to be nice about this, pointing out that the guild is about the guild and that the RP related to the guild is about the guild but apparently we have some thick-brained folk here. Be honest with what kind of RP you are looking for.

If you want guild-oriented RP we have that.

If you want relationship RP then speak to the members of the guild about doing it.

If you want one on one RP that is entirely controlled and OOCly set up then ask members about doing that.

But if you expect the guild-oriented RP to be focused on a single individual member then you are out of your mind.

For those of you who don't like my tone/attitude in this post. Then feel free to bring your issues with it up with me or Kel/Ang who are my officers. They work just as well for asking questions and queries but be ready to receive answers you won't like. Both are in agreement with me on this subject.

People need to get the heads out of behinds and show some initiative.

I WAS online on Sunday, from about 5pm server. The whole time Kel was on remote chat. Part of the time I was on Sandarah and the rest of the time was spent rp'ing with Jahana and Lineron (Riandron and Lineronx/Carinoth) as Rhannah. (I didn't know there was a rp event scheduled for Sunday, and even if I did, Rhannah is too low to go into Winterspring.)

At all times I was part of the RisingSunOOC channel. I can't rp with someone who is basically offline and as I am massively ahead of server time, I can't be expected to be online for an rp that is happening while I am sleeping.

This is 95% of Rhannah's rp at the moment and it's turning her into a very insular character, way more so than was my original intention for her, but, as I am often the only one actually online, I can't do anything else.

I don't. But at the moment, it's hard to find a way to involve Rhannah. She's an alchemist that hates fighting unless she's forced to. The guild quest of gathering silk is the only one she can get involved in OOCly as she's not a miner and she's not high enough to go into the pandarian areas. ICly she divides her time between the New Dawn enclave in EPL and Silvermoon City, so she can't participate in the search for Elysium.

I don't want to hold up the guild RP because I can't be online at a certain point in time. I would like a little consideration though. At the moment, I am currently 17 hours ahead of server. This means for example, 1 pm Sunday afternoon server time is approximately 6 am Monday morning my time. (Australian Eastern Standard Time, the same time zone as Sydney, New South Wales, Australia for those who want to verify that I'm telling the truth about the time difference.)

I'd tell you this in game, but you are rarely on at the same time as me. I'm sorry if this makes me sound like I'm needy or having a whinge. It's not intended that way. Now if you will excuse me, I only have a few hours of play time left before I log for the night and head into a warmer part of the house.

I was not able to get online at all until later Sunday, as my local internet was out. Sorry if Kel was on, I could not be there. Circumstances beyond my control. But I am open to rp with anyone who wants it when I am free which is nearly all day and up until 3 in the morning somedays.

It is summer time, do not worry about it and we will keep rping as we are. If you want more involvement I am always ready to help out.

Rhannah, I think your character would be a very good one to help Auxi with a problem--being a warlock and alchemist would work well. If you are interested, let me know here.

I am not on this toon much, but I am trying to keep her circulating a bit (not doing too well at it, currently). This side RP would help me get back in character and would give you a chance to work on yours one-on-one. I know how hard it is to exercise a character without much contact with others, often making them seem a bit displaced in general.

What times are good for you to be on (your time) and I will do some math and figure out when our paths might cross online. Block out times are Friday (I spend that with my family), Monday nights, and Wednesdays. Weekends are iffy, but if that is when we can meet, I will work something out. I will be rotating into my live role playing group sometime in the next month or so, they are finishing up with one game and I have plans to play in Five Rings, so that will knock out every other Sunday.

Cy--we need a time for Auxi to get the journals.

Sol - we need to figure out a time that we can get online when I don't have another commitment.

Diablo - I would say quit wasting my time, but I am enjoying you too much. Especially not having the 250 character limit in chat; makes role playing easier.

Auxilia, I would love to rp with your character. I'm usually online from about 10 am my time each day except Tuesdays and Fridays, when I have some part time work. On those days, I'm often online from about 4 pm.

At the moment, because of it being winter and my computer being ina part of the house that is hard to keep warm, I usually log for the night between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. As the weather gets warmer, that will get pushed back to around midnight. As I said in an earlier post, I'm in the same time zone as Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

ICly, Rhannah is a warlock that calls herself a shadow mage to others, but prefers to introduce herself as a 'simple alchemist'. She's very shy, tending to stick to the background in crowds. Her self confidence took a huge hit four months ago when she caught her fiance in bed with Meghann Firehawk and Meghann turned Rhannah's few remaining friends against her. Currently, the only remaining close friend is her older brother Leon.

Thursday 11:00am your time should be Wednesday 9:00pm my time, and that will work for me. My role playing commitment on Wednesday is usually over around 5pm and my RL stuff is over around 8:00/8:30pm.

Will that work out for you?

Sounds great. I have a few things to do on Thursday mornings, but they are usually finished by around 10:00/10:30 so I should be done in time.

All right, I posted Jahana's search in Uldum. She is on the beach on the very southern portion of Silithis and near the border of Uldum. If you want to react to it by giving me something to find I am ok with that. If she finds nothing, she will move on.

Yes the Journals have always inspired me to be a better writer. They also help us get to know not only other characters, but the ones you create yourself. Great post Fynn!

We need to get more people grouping up for rp. No reason why we cannot take some time while leveling to meet up and say hi or whatever. Rp does not have to be limited to meetings that are scheduled.

That reminds me I still need to get some confirmation or clue from Ratheron if the cave I found is a dead end. I do not mind if it is, just give me some kind of trail to follow. If you want to tell me in here that's fine if you don't have time to post a lot. But it would be nice to hear from you and Shadow at least in the Journal. So far only a few of us actually take the time to post.

Yes, Solorin is dead. The toon was moved to the Ally side to play with a friend, but for the purposes of RSF, he is among the deceased.

Let's just be clear for a moment, as I said, while everyone was online at the meeting, I had things to do all day Saturday and Sunday night. I scheduled a guild event, put it on the calendar, and people said that they could be present at noon server. 5 server is 8pm my time, and I was at dinner. I leave remote up, most of the time, but don't actually look at it unless it makes my phone go off. When it does, I respond, typically. It has this funny habit of not making my phone ring, so I -do- try to look at it once in a while.

I have, also, been sick. I haven't been feeling well, I've been avoiding staring at the computer for long periods of time, and I've been depressed.

All right, I can see our main problem here as it always has been. Not all of us can be online in game to meet up very often. It's very sad and I am missing the old times when we could actually field a five man dungeon or rp out an epic battle scene.

None the less, I still enjoy rp as my favorite thing to do in game. But keep the faith and know when we can get together it is fun and we can do something.

Meantime, if there is a meeting today, Kazzy will be there and Jahana by guild stone will make a report on the cave she found. We can keep things going by Journal posts and occasional meetups.

Just an update, I had more fun yesterday than I have had in a very long time!! Thanks to Rhannah, Zyss, Kreindis, Carinoth, and Fyn. We had an rp that lasted almost six hours!! Was a total blast and I hope you all had fun?

Oh by the way, can I get a promotion for Riandron? Just hit 40 and he is in need of some mentoring, I have been trying to do both healing and tanking on him. I would not mind some sparring and a bit of information on how best to use talents and so forth and some kind of advice on rotation?

Thank you for remembering me, Jahana! I want to thank Kreindis for being a good sport. I' m glad I had this opportunity to RP with him. He's a good egg, and can take most anything with a grain of salt.

I Had an absolute blast guys. I can't remember having that much fun with an in game rp in a long time.

Jahana, you could try asking on the monk forums for some help with Rian. If nothing else, they may have a sticky or two that could help.

Alright, I need to say two things here:

One, I'm deciding not to cancel my WoW subscription, as the RP seems to be getting back to its former glory. I'm sure all of you are happy to hear that.

Second, I need to explain something about how Kreindis is 'alive' again. Technically, he isn't. My idea is that he is just another man with the same first name as the Death Knight one, but his last name instead of Blazestride being Dawnstride instead.
