I really might have over done Hal a little bit. I am not sure I want him to be too much of a jerk. He needs a little refining. He takes care of his little brother in a strange way, but it was part of how they were raised. Dad was a bit of strict disciplinarian who dealt a lot of tough love.
His motto was if something does not kill you it makes you stronger. He encouraged the boys to spar and fight without weapons to make them tough. But he did not offer much in the way of praise. Both boys coped with it in different ways. Hal became boisterous and eager, always trying to come out on top in a bid for his father's approval which never came. Rian retreated into himself and tried to stay out of Hal's way, mostly because he was younger and more vulnerable.
Mother was a socialite who stayed in Silvermoon a lot when the boys were older. She was not an overly motherly woman. She was the one who got them business contracts and kept the Winery viable and profitable. Grandad was the true genius for growing and nurturing the grapes. But he was quiet and unassuming, puttering around the grounds and offering advice and at least some encouragement to the boys. But he was also very old and he only influenced them for a century or so. He taught Rian about the grapes and how they grew. He was father to the boys mother.
Hal was more interested in chasing the girls. He is not a bad person, just enthusiastic and bold. He is occasionally successful, but he does not know how to handle comittment. He doesn't know what love is. When it does hit him it will be like a ton of bricks. Help me guys, I need to develop his personality more.

I think we need more people to spice up this rp. I encourage all of you to invite a friend or two to make this a good place to have our characters grow and develop.

The youngest died giving birth to twins (A boy and a girl, now being raised by Narella's cousin Lynnah). Just after she became an adult, her mother was killed defending Silvermoon City from the scourge invasion led by Arthas. She was forced to step up and look after her two younger sisters, Bryah and Cyndrinne. The three girls pulled together, each doing what they could to help them survive.
Narella had a lot of help with her younger sisters from a friend of the family, Leon Starstrider. He was the one that told the girls that their mother Sandara had been killed and he felt obligated to help them out in whatever way he could. Somewhere along the way, Leon and Narella fell in love and Leon was about to propose when Cyndrinne finally became an adult. Narella finally was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a Farstrider like her mother.
What happens next is unclear, neither character will tell me what happened. Around the time Narella entered the Farstrider Training Academy, they broke up. Leon never got to propose and he still carries the ring he planned to give Narella with him in his pack. He has never looked at another woman since.

She obviously was born well before the high elves took the name Blood Elf and started using fel magic to deal with their addiction so she could still be a high elf in that respect. While her being a dk would be easier in some ways for rp purposes, it would be hard to explain how she became a DK.

At the start of the Third war, there were three girls:
Narella, the oldest who had just become an adult.
Bryah, 2 years younger than Narella.
Cyndrinne, the youngest and 2 years younger than Bryah.
Four years after the Third war, Cyndrinne became an adult and Narella was free to join the Farstriders.
Three years ago, Cyndrinne died in childbirth.
Today, there are two Starstrider girls remaining, Narella and Bryah.

Ah ok, that explains it better. I was confused. How about this: I can play Narella to your Leon and I can have her as a normal blood elf who married someone else who was subsequently killed. Like maybe recently. That would explain the name I gave her, Duskwither.

It was like several years to them, but he was killed after they came back. But I would prefer to have you help me with personality and so forth.
This is just brainstorming, or you can make Narella and have her just send Leon a dear John letter and have her gone. That would free him up for rp. I could have my DK play just a warrior who knew Narella and would come and tell Leon about what happened to her after she sent the letter. You can either continue with her in a background type story or delete her if you don't want to continue.

Well, the fourth would be a female character, someone for Jen to compete against for Leon's affections and possibly a shoulder to cry on for Hal for if/when Leon and Jen pair up.

That was a fun night and we should have another one (with or without Alcid--he did play that part very well), but an opportunity to get just a group together and blow off steam would be great.
I am aiming to be on tomorrow night for RP, get Auxi out and moving just a bit. If I can swing getting her on tonight, I will, but my evening plans are up in the air. If I can find a day that I can reasonably be predictable to log in on a regular basis with Auxi, I will, but at the moment, my two predictable days are tied up with other commitments!
