[A-PVP] A Call to Arms
Thanks again for those who were able to make it for PVP Night. I once more apologize for my confusion about the Call to Arms for the evening >_< Anyway, I've updated the roster to include Emmaiya (I'll also update the Alliance Army group roster at cc.org) and sent out the in-game invite for next week's PVP Night.

Now there has been a pretty sharp decline in participation over the past month. While none of us should feel obligated to attend (the Alliance Army is not a raiding or arena guild after all) it is still a tad alarming. If the current day and time is presenting a problem to you then let me know so we can try rescheduling PVP Nights.
Also please get in touch with me if you wish to be removed from the roster. Don't worry, I'll understand but you will make my kitty cry *-*

I have not been feeling well all day so I probably will not be on later tonight. As usual, PVP Night is not cancelled. If you wish to attend merely check the in-game calendar to see who signed up and try to get in touch with them.

Also with WoD hitting us soon the Alliance Army will need to be put on hold until we get our PVP chars up to max level again. Since I'm not sure how long the WoD leveling process will take, and we all level at different speeds anyway, I envision at least a month hiatus. Regardless we can play it by ear so to speak.

Due to the extreme imbalance that currently exists in PVP at level 90 [ala healers are even harder to kill than in MoP] I'm putting the PVP Nights on hiatus until after WoD launches. I'll update this thread again once I begin scheduling dates.

So first of all I want to reiterate my desire to continue hosting a weekly PVP Night for the Alliance. Just like during MoP my goal is for it to be a more casual evening of running random BGs and potentially, que time willing, Ashran. Considering that the holidays and new year are looming I would like to wait to schedule dates until the end of the first week of January.
Now I will be sending in-game letters out to everyone that was on the old roster from MoP. Please reply to those letters or make a post in this thread by January 7th stating whether you would like to remain on the roster or not. If I don't hear back from you by the 7th then I will assume you are currently not interested and will take your name off it.
Also anyone new who is interested in joining the WoD roster please get in touch with me in-game or make a reply to this thread. You can also check out the Alliance Army group on the cc.org site at:

And speaking of the Alliance Army group there have been a lot of changes to the PVP scene since MoP. To just name a few this includes new ways of obtaining gear, a shift in the North American PVP community to be more Alliance dominated, new class dynamics, and the introduction of the PVP zone Ashran. Thus I will be locking any of our old discussions that I feel are now out of date and will be adding new discussions over the next several weeks. Specifically I want to provide information on Ashran, getting gear, and the current PVP meta.
Feel free to ask me any questions here or in-game that you might have about the Alliance Army, PVP Night, and WoD PVP. I'll also post an update here every time I add a new discussion to the Alliance Army group page.
